The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints and demands tribute. The Saints are kings of Stilwater, but their celebrity status has not gone unnoticed. Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name, with Saints sneakers, Saints energy drinks and Johnny Gat bobblehead dolls all available at a store near you. Professor Genki, a character from the Professor Genki's Super Ethical Reality Climax Activity, has served as an unofficial mascot for the game, and has two vehicles and a weapon named after him. Whereas the previous games charted the 3rd Street Saints' rise to power over Stilwater, Saints Row: The Third charts their adventure in a new city: Steelport. Like the previous two games in the series, Saints Row and Saints Row 2, the game is an open-world sandbox.

all the damage upgrades have been overhauled and you can't upgrade to no damage anymore(the prices have been changed too) fixed the minimap sometimes disappearing (sorry for messing up) the minimap along with notoriety stars and badges are back!but you can't see the enemies on the map anymore. lowered the cash reward from killing sprees and now you will start earning money if you do 2-6 kills in a short time(3 kills to start the headshot killing spree,for the explosive kills the counter will start at 6 kills,etc). all the tanks are less resistant to damage dramatically decreased the HP of the brutes major notoriety fix sometimes the gangs wouldn't spawn when on high notoriety in the previous versions other npcs,vehicles,weapons,survival missions and notoriety tweaks. specialists are now easier to kill with headshots Less hitpoints for the yarn-ball because it was too overpowered. You will encounter more SWAT troops than before (with the except of level 5 notoriety) The Bear's turret does less damage to vehicles and it rotates slower than before made the trail blazing activity much more fun because the cops and the luchadores will chase you during the activity. the cops will come to chase you if you steal a vehicle after a brief amount of time it is now nearly impossible to destroy a vehicle using the melee weapons one extra minute in tank mayhem activity the crusader's solar beam does less damage to vehicles the mini-map along with the notoriety badges/stars have been removed. the brute that jumps on the ball is easier to kill than before

Fixed sometimes being able to carry 51+ grenades Fixes not being able to pick up ammo for stag rifle. You can only hold 2 RPG rockets,so you need to upgrade to carry further more. Health Increase upgrades are now more expensive but will give you a little more benefit. Fixed Killbane from Mars sometimes not attacking Gangs now spawn at a faster rate than before(when you are on notoriety) >they do more damage with the RPG than regular soldiers
